Smart Home Leader Nexia Offering CEDIA Course on How Connected Homes Have Become Mainstream

TYLER, TEXAS (August 28, 2017) – Smart home leader Nexia™, a brand of Ingersoll Rand (NYSE:IR), today announced plans to help CEDIA attendees reach new markets when it offers courses during the Sept. 7-9 connected home show, in San Diego, CA.

There will be two opportunities to take part in Nexia’s “Diversify your product portfolio & dominate your market” course – Thursday, Sept. 7 and Friday, Sept. 8, both from 3:30 – 5 p.m.

“Having a connected home once meant installing an expensive system or one with a lengthy contract and long-term commitment,” said Nexia general manager George Land. “The growing market of affordable, wireless options like Nexia have expanded the possibilities and created opportunities for installers to reach the mainstream market.”

“During our course, the Nexia team will show integrators how they can leverage the shift by expanding their connected home offering to enlarge their share of the local market.”
